The Western Cape is world famous for its vineyards and wine making. The nearest wine route starts only 15 minutes drive from Makapa Lodge.

We can provide information on the main routes, or if you would prefer a guided tour we can arrange full or half day wine tours, with pick up from Makapa Lodge to Constantia, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, Darling, Robertson and Swartland.
