Water Activities and Trips

From Hout Bay and Simon’s Town there are a variety of boat trips for various activities such as whale viewing, Great White shark viewing, both surface and cage diving, fishing trips, or site seeing trips to Seal Island, Duiker Island or to Cape Point.

For a more active pursuit try sea kayaking the warm waters of False Bay, view the penguins at Boulders Beach or see the cliffs at Cape Point.

There are many great spots to surf or wind surf for the experienced surfer but for those who can’t and would like to learn, surf or kite surfing lessons are available locally.
